Romana Chudá is one of these daydreamers. As a girl who grew up in a small village, she was often escaping to her rich inner world. She was slowly pulled into the painting as one of the ways of expressing herself and revealing fractions of the life she lives inside. Because of a series of fortunate events she had the opportunity to travel around the world for the last 10 years as a model. She made a comeback to her painting roots in 2017.
Her biggest inspiration are her out-of-the-body experiences which she has been experiencing since childhood. “When painting, it is not my hand nor I who do the work. If you want to touch the sky you must surrender and become one with everything” Besides painting she is interested in analog photography (had a debut exhibition in early 2020 called Mexiko) and is running a successful blog.
